My background

For more than twenty years I've worked in brand strategy, helping businesses understand how they're perceived and why people make the decisions they do.

Over time I noticed something.

The same principles that shape powerful brands also shape powerful places.

Some homes attract stronger emotional responses than others.

Some hotels become memorable while others are quickly forgotten.

Some properties seem to offer everything on paper yet fail to connect.

The difference is rarely one thing.

It's the experience people have as they move through a space, and the story they take away from it.

That's what led me to create Behind Every Door.
